On Sunday, we enjoyed brunch at the Jasmine Porch. The food was amazing and there was soooo much of it! Plus champagne and mimosas included. Needless to say, after overloading on carbs and mimosas, we needed a bit of a nap.
We read about this great "rooftop bar" we needed to visit in Charleston. Apparently there are a couple of rooftop bars in Charleston and we chose the wrong one. We had a lovely time anyway, even though the "spectacular view" consisted of several rooftop air conditioning units.
Our one rainy day in Kiawah. The hurricane turned out to be just a rainy day. We actually enjoyed it because we took advantage of some of the fun inside stuff at the hotel that we would normally miss out on. Alot of people canceled their reservations due to the impending hurricane so we had the hotel to ourselves it seemed for the first couple of days. We were pretending we were royalty and that we lived there. Actually, because Royal is so charismatic and charming, he was interviewed by Charleston's News Channel 4 about the hurricane.
